Theodore Thursday
"The only time you really live fully is from thirty to sixty. The young are slaves to dreams; the old servants of regrets. Only the middle-aged have all their five senses in the keeping of their wits" - Theodore Roosevelt.

I think I was able to cram in some living before thirty. I ran my first marathon at 26, got married at 24, bought a house, graduated from college...did I have my wits about me? Hmmm

As one who is approaching the 60 mark - I did accomplish a great deal before I was 30, but did not really appreciate the better things in life until I reached about 40. Since 50 I have enjoyed doing many things - hiking, traveling to Europe and Asia - that I did not or could not before that time. I just hope when 60 arrives - God willing - that I will not have any regrets - I certainly do not right now even though there are still some things I want to do before I am physically unable.
